Oakville Meals on Wheels
Oakville Meals on Wheels is a local charitable organization dedicated to ensuring that no one is isolated, hungry or without human connection in our community. When our volunteers deliver meals to our clients, they are also delivering peace of mind to families knowing their loved ones are taken care of and compassion to clients through conversation and connection.
We serve over 300 clients with approximately 2,100 delivered meals and food items each month.
To keep our costs low we rely on the generosity of donors including corporate donations as well as an extended volunteer workforce who deliver meals for free throughout our service area.
Our Mission
With the support of its volunteers, OMOW enables independent living by providing equitable access to nutritious meals and opportunities for social interaction while ensuring physical and emotional well-being.
Our Vision
Every adult, regardless of age, ability, health, income or living circumstances, lives in an inclusive community where they are well-nourished, safe and connected and are able to live independently with dignity.

Caring
The simple act of delivering food to someone who needs a meal is the metaphor for the culture of caring that permeates through our service delivery. We are small enough to know our clients and volunteers as individuals. Our staff attends to needs and concerns of our clients and their caregivers with considered attention.

We listen and respond to the needs expressed by individuals, as well as to the changing needs as they arise in the community.
Commitment
We are here to deliver and fill a vital community service. We dedicate ourselves to continuous quality and improvement. We are proud of our high level of commitment from staff and volunteers.
