Earlier this year, the decision was made to leave our home on Cross Avenue for a bigger space. As of August 2021, we are in our in new location on Pacific Road in Oakville!
Our new space offers up many benefits that our old space could not: a larger overall footprint, dedicated storage, lots of windows for natural light, and plenty of room for staff and volunteers to work together while still maintaining physical distancing.
Lots of hard work went into making the space our own. We worked with students from Sheridan College on the overall design and they helped obtain supplies and materials to make their vision a reality. Many on our Board of Directors team donated their time and skills into transforming space into something truly beautiful.
Our new location offers much more potential as Oakville Meals on Wheels continues to grow. In the future, we will be able to host meetings and events onsite, when safe to do so.
